Your bees made it through their first winter, now what do you do to keep them healthy?

How do you increase your apiary size or increase your honey harvest?

There is no shortage of advice on the "web" but what really works for beekeepers in our area?

This class is for second year+ beekeepers. It will overview year-round hive maintenance tasks, hive ‘increase’ techniques, queen management, swarm reduction and trapping, honey collection and extraction, Varroa management and disease detection.

Our speakers include local “sideliner” market beekeepers and successful hobbyists from the STBA. They will share a variety of techniques that work for them and their bees in the Southern Tier of NY.
